Research & Development
Initial research tests were conducted in Sweden and Chile, South America. Additional tests conducted through Environmental Analysis Corporation / Earthwise Analytical showed positive results in decreasing water hardness, the amounts of sodium and chloride, bacteria, manganese, sulfate, nitrate, ph and lime scale buildup.
The positive results of past tests conducted are significant to the commercialization process. More testing continues as we continue to gain market trust and dominance. VWP AB and Living Waters USA, Inc. will continue to conduct more detailed testing with qualified third party testing facilities. We intend to acquire validation certificates in order to garner the required Government certifications and "green" seal approvals which will be used for marketing the VWP Water Processor.
Recent testing for the VWP technology was conducted in Norway based AquaTeam. AquaTeam tested the effect of the VWP scale inhibition processor to inhibit the formation of CaCO3 scale in a recalculating fresh water system. Test results have come back very positive and will soon be available.
Aquateam is an independent consulting and R & D company that was founded in 1984 by people from the environmental technology group at the Norwegian Institute for water research (NIVA). The company acts as a liaison between universities/colleges/research institutes and management/business.
Plans are currently underway by Living Waters USA to start testing with a third party "green" certified lab facility in the New York Area. Living Waters USA, Inc. expects Phase 1 testing to begin by Q2 2011.
